Review

Much in the same way that its sister restaurant The Ordinary Pub is not ordinary, this gastro-delight is not at all common.  Start with the gorgeous storefront space on Broughton with big airy windows, high ceilings, and a bustling, buzzy vibe that is both energetic and kinda loud.  Quite conversations are not on the menu here.

But that’s okay because what is on the menu is delight after delight.  It’s sort of a foodie lovers gastro-pub with a southern spin.  Check out the duck and waffle shared plate with ginger butter and goat cheese or the low country chowder with andouille sausage.  Upscale burgers, tacos, and entrees like pork belly mac and cheese or even filet mignon with maple bourbon butter are noteworthy but you really can’t make a mistake here – it’s all good.

Their brunch is very popular so reserve ahead and then be on the lookout for things like mac and cheese with short ribs, crab cake benedict, a brunch burrito and more.  Add in the bottomless mimosas and it’s a no-brainer.

Prices are in the “not bad” category.  Most things are under $20 except some of the bigger entrees, which go a few bucks over that.

An exceptional restaurant that is helping Savannah become a foodie favorite.
