Until Plant Riverside arrived, you didn’t expect much from the restaurants and bars on River Street, which mainly cater to tourists and don’t go all out on amenities and niceties. Dub’s is an exception to that, with an upscale sports bar vibe, lots of TVs, and nice furnishings but with a friendly, neighborhood bar atmosphere.
They’ve got a full menu of pub grub favorites with appetizers like fried corn on the cob, wings, and pork belly poutine; flatbreads; tacos; salads; sandwiches; burgers; ribs; and more. Most of it is hearty, heavy on the calories, and stick to your ribs type stuff, but it’s affordable, fast, and satisfying.
