Review

This is really more of a lounge than a restaurant, but the food here is so spectacular that not putting it in the “places to eat” section would be a crime.   

The African inspired design and decor is a little heavy handed – perhaps a chandelier made out of bullwhips was not the best idea in the world and the stuffed animals are troubling.  Still, it sets a safari mood for the delightful South African libations and food including boerewors slides (sausage, a tangy ketchup, and crispy onions on brioche buns), frikkadel (lamb meatballs), and chicken schawarma tacos that are out of this world! 

To wash it down, do not miss the Baobab signature daquiri with pineapple and banana rum.  Perfect!
