Review

There are some fantastic Mexican restaurants in town but most of them are middle-of-the-road affairs from the price points to the food. This place moves everything up a few notches with more elegant dishes, ingredients, and prices to create a more upscale south of the border experience.

Do not miss the queso fundido appetizer, which blends multiple cheeses and spicy chorizo in a way that beats almost every other version of the dish in town.

The tacos range from chicken pickled onions and charred tomato salsa to roasted mushroom to snapper and carnitas and beyond are all delicious, but consider the specialties like the alambre – basically a bowl with carne asada, chorizo, bacon and more served with fresh tortillas. Amazing.

Expensive, but amazing.
