Review
Savannah is better known for its flavors of the south rather than south of the border, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get good Mexican food here.
Tequila’s Town proves that with a satisfying – but not overwhelming menu – of Mexican favorites that will make you want to come back for more.
Start with that queso fundido appetizer or maybe the empanadas, then dive into the meal options which include salads and soups, tortas and sopes, Tex-Mex (quesadillas, burritos, chimichangas, and more) street tacos, fajitas, and seafood. Be sure to pay close attention to their house specials and parrillad sections, which is where you’ll find the Gringa quesadilla with fajita meat and veggies in warm flour tortillas topped with queso dip. Yes, please!!
Prices range from cheap for the tacos to moderate for most other dishes and portions are more than generous.
