Deemed by many to be the best pizza in the city, the pies at this back-to-basics place draws big crowds and long lines at peak times so be prepared to wait.

If you do, it’s worth it, with giant slices or full New York style pizzas plus a few calzones to add variety.  The mediums are large (14″) and the larges are huge (18″) so even though the prices seem a bit elevated (you can easily go over $25 if you load on the toppings), you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck.  Feeding three or even four people with a large is totally doable.

If you’re staying in the Historic District, they’ll even deliver a pizza to you for free!

And yes, this is the place where the waitress kicked the guy’s ass for touching her inappropriately – one more reason to like the joint.
