You’re going to have to drive or take an Uber to get to this place on Whitmarsh Island, about 5 miles east of the Historic District, but it might just be worth it for the meal you’re going to get.

They take their BBQ seriously here in the south and that’s evident here with the trophies scattered around the room proving the “championship” part of their name.

They have all the ‘Q standards – pulled pork, an insanely tender brisket, smoked chicken, ribs, and more that come in platter, sandwich, slider, and by the pound varieties.  Be sure to check the specials board and cross your fingers that they have the smokehouse club special the day you visit – pulled pork, fried green tomatoes, and bacon on Texas toast!

Take some time to sample all four of their amazing sauces, too.

Prices are pretty typical for a BBQ joint, which is to say not exactly cheap, but you’re getting huge portions so expect leftovers.
