A longtime Savannah favorite, Cotton & Rye is one of those restaurants that doesn’t get the attention from visitors that it should, mostly because it’s not right in the Historic District. But it’s a quick Uber to the Thomas Square neighborhood and it’ll be well worth your time and effort.
The menu is fairly small but you really can’t go wrong with any of their low-country inspired favorites.
Their crispy chicken wings are done in a spicy honey sauce with a chipotle kick, the bone-in pork chop is a thick, juicy wonder, and slow roast beef will remind you of what mom used to make.
Whatever you order you’ll walk away feeling like you found a hidden gem.
