This popular Midtown eatery features good drinks and great grub that leans toward the y’all side of the Mason Dixon line.
Appetizers include some basics like wings and nachos but pay attention to the fried green tomatoes appetizer done with goat cheese and balsalmic or the jalapeno cornbread with honey butter. Salads, burgers, sandwiches, and tacos are all great for lunch or dinner and they have some heartier entrees including a fantastic meatloaf topped with Carolina BBQ sauce or the chicken fried chicken.
Don’t forget about brunch offering omelettes, scrambles, chicken and biscuits, and more.
Prices are moderate – you could do a hearty lunch here for under $20 if you didn’t go too crazy on the sides and drinks. Oh, the drinks… they have a full bar with a very satisfying beer, wine, and cocktail program.
Worth noting, they have a twin sister restaurant on Broughton St. in Downtown Savannah, but it has been only available for private events since COVID. Check the website to see if it is open for regular dining since it’s probably more convenient for most visitors and will probably have the same menu.
