It’s located just outside the Historic District but a restaurant this elegant and this fine is worth going the extra few blocks you have to travel.
Located in a gorgeously restored circa 1900 mansion, they serve upscale low country food with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients.
Consider the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes appetizer, so fresh and flavorful you’ll be convinced they are making the cheese and growing the vegetables in the backyard. The beef tenderloin is a delight as are the red rice and shrimp, but if you can only have one dish let it be the double cut pork chop with a five-cheese macaroni. Swoon.
Decadent desserts complete a fantastic, albeit not cheap, meal.
