Add this charming and authentic Chinese bistro to the list of unexpected culinary delights in the deep south.

The dining room is small and tightly packed but pretty, evoking a bird cage design – cute and full of energy, but not exactly the kind of place for an intimate, quiet conversation type of meal.

The menu is extensive with lots of traditional Chinese favorites, all served in huge portions so come hungry or intending to share. The chicken gyoza are perfect and the Mongolian beef is spicier than I’m used to, but I wasn’t complaining.

This is not cheap Chinese takeout and the check reflects that but you’ll taste the quality. 

Don’t miss the Peacock Lounge located underneath the restaurant for some fantastic cocktails including their signature blood orange martini, which will keep you coming back for more.
