Little Crown by Pie Society

Review
The British founded Savannah in 1733, so it shouldn’t be all that incongruous to have a British baking company right in the heart of Downtown.
It’s a tiny slip of a place (hence the word “little” in their name), with a small bar and a few table inside plus a couple of tables on the sidewalk out front. Getting your grub to go might be the better option here.
Specializing in pot pies, quiches, and meat-stuffed pastries, the offerings come in big and huge sizes and are packed with flavor. If the steak and kidney or chicken curry are too “British” for you, go for the delicious chicken pot pie, loaded with tender meat and veggies.
The “pasties” (their word, not mine) are a little too much crust and not enough filling for my personal tastes, but still quite good.
Note, there’s another location in Pooler that has a more extensive menu.
