Proper upscale steakhouses are super popular in most other cities but in Savannah you only have a couple of options.  Is Marbled & Fin the one you should go to?

A sister to the popular Charleston restaurant of the same name, M&F specializes in hearty, and expensive, cuts of beef along with your usual non-beef options including some seafood, chicken, pork chops, and the like.  Before you get to the main courses you can stop along the way at the raw bar section with oysters, tuna tartare, and similar or go all in with caviar service if you’re feeling very flush with cash.

The food on our visit was good but not exceptional, especially for the prices they are charging.  If you are able to get out of here for less than $125 per person you’ve done something wrong.

Add in the obsequious, almost cloying service that was overly familiar and at times downright annoying, and the overall experience did not elevate it to favorite steakhouse in Savannah.
