Review

This is a gem of a restaurant, located in a predominantly residential neighborhood and offering a fine-dining experience that is not at all stuffy. Yes, the waiters are wearing fancy aprons and the tablecloths are very white, but you don’t need to get dressed up and you won’t be intimidated by the small but satisfying selection of perfectly prepared dishes.

The menu changes often, but look for dishes like filet with Bordelaise, braised beef short ribs, or a cocoa pork tenderloin with a hard cider reduction. If they have the latter, get it – you won’t be sorry.

Be sure to start with a cocktail – craft mixology at its finest – and save room for their desserts which include treats like a seasonal creme brulee.

Not cheap but much cheaper than it should be for what you get.
