Review
The farm to table vibe is strong here, from the menu to the ambience, which feels home grown and organic in a gorgeous old building redone with comfy indoor and outdoor spaces.
The menu is slight but there is a lot to be satisfied by here. Start with the Bacon & Whiskey Board, which provides “flights” of pork (candied bacon, pork belly, and so on) and some pretty potent potables. Other options include fresh flavors like a chilled tomato and sweet pepper soup or a pepper crusted beef carpaccio.
Standouts on the main course section include the pork chop done with apples, onions, and squash spoon bread and the filet, which is enlivened by blue cheese smashed potatoes and balsamic onions.
Prices are on the high side – figure $50-$75 per person all in depending on what you order – but the quality of the food and the divine preparation make it worth it.
