Review

This is the closest thing you’re going to find to a classic Italian steakhouse experience in the city, complete with the leather booths and wood trim giving it a club-like vibe.  It’s a upscale dining experience but you don’t have to get all gussied up for it – this is a pretty casual town.

The menu starts with a lot of your steakhouse basics like shrimp cocktail, calamari, and some salads but they throw in some good old fashioned southern specials like fried green tomatoes and crab gumbo.  Entrees run the gamut of steak, seafood, and pasta with Italian favorites like veal or chicken piccata, Marsala, or parmigina.  None of it is exactly mind-blowing, but everything is flavorful, well-prepared, and proportioned at a level that will make you want to loosen your belt buckle on the way out.

Not surprisingly, prices are high, with most entrees in the $25-$50 range and only the simpler pasta dishes less than that.
