Taking over the location of Blowin’ Smoke, a local favorite restaurant, meant this place had a lot to live up to, but they have acquitted themselves well with an extensive menu of Mexican favorites, great drinks, and a casual atmosphere.
It’s done by the same people who do Tequila’s Town, so the menu has a lot of crossovers (from burritos to quesadillas and beyond) but the focus, naturally, is on street tacos. They’re all good, but the carnitas with grilled yellow onions, the chorizo, and the carne asada are all top notch.
They’re simple but flavorful and downright cheap, so come and load up.
