Review

Located along the bustling City Market in the Historic District, this touristy cafe probably shouldn’t be your first choice of dining destinations in Savannah – there are simply too many good places to eat here. But it does offer good people watching views from its patio and good food at respectable prices with lots and lots of fun drinks, so you know, you could definitely do worse.

Let’s start with those drinks since their menu does. Their biggest draws are their house made sangrias, including a Georgia Peach version with white zin, peach puree, triple sec, and fresh peaches. It’s enough to convert even the most ardent of sangria foes. After that they have a long cocktail list, plenty of beers, bubblies, wines, and more.

The food is cafe plus, with starters like chicken “feathers” instead of tenders, done with curry sauce and toasted bread, baked brie, and even smoked salmon followed by southern influenced entrees including shrimp and grits or spicy ravioli, a few salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, and some decadent desserts. The preparation is solid, the portions are big, and the flavors are satisfying.

Almost everything on the menu is between $10 and $20, so you can do a good meal here without breaking the bank.
